Today's letter tells of an overheard, hurtful comment.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Living Treasure began as personal letters written to each member of a small women's Bible study to encourage them each week. As the study grew in number and it became harder to write each member, Lucy began writing one letter for the entire group. Along the way someone remarked, "You ought to put these letters in a book!" and that became Lucy's first book, Letters To The Precious Group. After the third printing, other books followed that traced Lucy's life and how she saw God at work and used these letters to encourage her "precious pilgrims." Later came a radio program which contains these letters, and then television. Though Lucy doesn't consider herself a teacher, this "letter writer" and encourager has been used by God to reach many in a simple and direct way.
The Red Letter Edition is the words of Christ, recorded on a 4-CD set and placed in a beautiful binder. The idea for these recordings came out of Lucy's love for The Word of God, and wanting to concentrate on the words that our Lord spoke. Your $20.00 gift will allow us to send this resource to you.
Do you know a child who would like to receive a monthly letter from Ms. RaRa? Ms. RaRa has been friends with Lucy for over 15 years. She has a glorious childlike joy and peace and simplicity which seems to flow through her words. It is her hope that God will use this letter to bless little ones.

Would you like to receive a monthly letter of encouragement? Who couldn't use a boost now and then! Click the order button below to receive a monthly letter from Lucy MacLeod, hand-written (complete with smudges and cross-outs at times) and taken from situations in life where she has laughed, cried, or learned hard lessons. We won't be asking you for donations - this is just another way of "encouraging one another."
